  • The Dartmoor Inn - Lydford

    It’s an unspoken rule that all walks on Dartmoor must be marked with a hearty pub lunch and a local tipple and this 16th century inn, a short detour from some of the National Park’s best trails, ensures the long-held tradition continues. This absolutely scrumptious pub is located about a 20 minute drive away. A ‘must eat’ in the area.

  • Strawberry Fields Farm Shop

    Voted UK’s Best Farm Shop 3 years in a row, there is something for everyone. Delicious food to buy, a gorgeous gift shop full of delights and a wonderful cafe with everything from tea and cake to sandwiches all made in house.

  • The Cornish Arms

    The ethos of The Cornish Arms is to operate a pub which they would love to come to use themselves. A place serving unpretentious food, fantastic beer and wine offering, great value for money and accessible for all to enjoy. The pub has been in the UK’s top 50 Gastro Pubs every year since opening in 2013. It’s about 25 mins away in Tavistock.

  • Okehampton

    Our closest town about a 15 minute drive away. Full of independent shops and cafes, 3 supermarkets and even the Life of Dartmoor Museum, its the perfect place to start you day on the moors.

  • Tavistock

    Tavistock is a thriving, beautifully friendly market town that is worthy of any visitor. An ancient stannary town and home of the cream tea, Tavistock is the only town in Devon to hold world heritage status.

  • Bude

    WIth selection of beaches only a short drive away we recommend bude as a must see! This surfers paradise also include a victorian sea swimming pool, have a dip before you tuck into some fish and chips
